The Council Of Italian Restaurants In Australia

cira Council Of Italian Restaurants In AustraliaTwelve Italian-Australian restaurateurs have formed a non-profit association for cultural and educational purposes, to promote the values of Italian food in Australia. They are now consulting with others in the industry, and friends, to broaden membership and decide together on a program of work. CIRA’s founding members include: Armando Percuoco (Buon Ricordo), Lucio Galletto (Lucio’s); Giovanni Pilu and Marilyn Annecchini (Pilu at Freshwater); Beppi, Norma and Marc Polese (Beppi’s and Mezzaluna); Peter Zuzza, Vanessa Martin (Il Piave);

Elio Cordaro (Elio’s); John O’Riordan (Grappa); George Pompei (Pompei’s), David Cowdrill (Pizza Mario) and Danny Russo (Lo Studio).
